Oregano’s Menus

For the month of August, a series of guests will be filling in on DWL with daily posts. Today’s posts come to you from Jason Johnson who fights the good fight as an Art Director/Designer at TunnelBravo. For more from Jason, check out his portfolio or shots on Dribbble

Not long ago I ate at Oregano’s for the first time. Having worked on a lot of restaurant brands throughout my career I was extremely impressed with the unique menus Oregano’s has. And not just a couple of menu variations but an entire family of them. Each one designed in a distinctive album cover style with a cool nostalgic vibe. I found out later they were designed by Jon Arvizu who runs his own design, illustration & print shop called Trapdoor Studio.
