When Alex Wright sent over his work, I was most drawn to the spreads he’s designed for Gopher Illustrated, where he is the senior designer. The quarterly cultural publication aims to feature “stories, pieces and ideas that take time, are globally local and ultimately timeless”, and each issue is printed in black and 1 PMS color, with a few portfolio pages in full color.
