I’m extremely impressed with this conceptual project by Vanessa Lam, a recent graduate of the Art Center College of Design. Her incredibly thorough rebrand of The Center for Land Use Interpretation— “a research and education organization dedicated to understanding the man made landscape through different disciplines of geography, art, science, and architecture”—includes an identity system, various print collateral, a website, iPhone app, exhibition catalog and environmental graphics. And her interesting design solution employs cartographic patterns and graphics to create a flexible and interchangeable identity system.
