2012 RE:Design/Creative Directors Conference Giveaway

Update: This giveaway is now closed.

I’m so happy to be able to offer another free pass to one of the incredible RE:DESIGN conferences, RE:DESIGN/Creative Directors, which is coming up later this month. Here are the details:

RE:DESIGN/Creative Directors will take place in Portland on October 29–30. “Back to School: The (Re)Education of the Creative Director.” Digital technology, social networking, social change. The landscape of design and advertising is evolving constantly and irrevocably. What’s new? What’s the same? What must we let go of? What do we need to (re)learn? Your (re)education begins here.

The Fine Print:
The giveaway includes one pass to the RE:DESIGN/Creative Directors conference, valued at $645.00. 1. As an educator of young creatives, I am excited to attend all of these great presentations. If forced to name only one session, Tom Crabtree’s work as designer, technician, entrepenuer and educator intrigues.

  2. Thank you for the opportunity to win such a fantastic prize! I’ll keep my fingers crossed. I think the session of the ones listed so far, I would be most excited about Yang Kim’s “Using Prototyping to Facilitate Communication”. She sounds interesting (I loved her bio) and her work even more so. I’m sure I could learn a lot from hearing her speak. Thanks again for such a great giveaway!

  3. Awesome. I’d love to hear from OCD’s Bobby C. Martin Jr. on “When I’m Happy, The Client’s Happy.” Thanks for the opportunity!

  4. I would love to hear Michael Lemme’s thoughts on technology and social media as it applies to design practices today, and in the future. What a great opportunity!

  5. I would love to see Sarah Murgel’s talk, “Changing the World: A Designer’s Role in Organizational (and World) Politics”. Sounds very inspiring!

  6. I would be most excited to see Hamish Chandra of Hattery Labs I think. I love their focus on social good and good design. Hope I can make it happen! Pick me, Pick me!

  7. As someone who oversees brand identity and design for exhibition graphics, advertising, signage, and collateral projects at a cultural institution, I’m excited about Julia Hoffman.

  8. I would be so excited for all the events! But Julia Hoffman from The Museum of Modern Art would be great to listen to. Such a unique position she is in.

  9. Looks like an amazing line up. I am most excited about *I Laughed, I Cried, I Remembered: How Humor, Emotion and Wit make for memorable Branding.* But then again *When I’m Happy, The Client’s Happy* and *When I’m Happy, The Client’s Happy* could be extremely insightful….
    Keeping my fingers crossed.

  10. I would love to hear Hamish Chandra speak! I think collaboration is a critical link in the innovation chain. Especially between different mind types like creatives and engineers and that’s what Hattery Labs seems to be all about. {fingers crossed}
