Very few illustrators can capture childhood the way Sato Kanaedoes. This Japanese illustrator depicts children doing things dreaming, speaking with animals, standing in a dark forest, smelling oranges, floating, gathering mushrooms, feeling afraid with a special simplicity and innocence. I love how she uses saturated colors and a limited palette. See more of her artwork here.
