Let Them Eat Cake is the collaborative art show of the husband and wife team of Jordan and Paul Ferney. The show features a collection of small scale (5″x7″) colorful and whimsical oil paintings of cakes. Every single piece is unique, beautiful and interesting in its own way. One added detail that I love is that they enhanced each painting by pairing it with a narrative like, “After a slice of that chocolate cake she was in the mood to crash a party,” and “She was taking the train to New York with three bags, her French Bulldog and a large yellow cake.” All of the originals are available for sale right here. Fingers crossed that they’ll offer prints at some point.
