Studio Botes: Cavalli Identity and Collateral

South Africa based Studio Botes recently completed this sophisticated identity and collateral design for Cavalli Wine and Stud Farm, which is also located in South Africa. Here’s some notes from Brandt that explains the rationale behind some of the design details:

The humble horse shoe served as inspiration for the “C” of Cavalli. 
Cavalli breeds American Saddlebred horses renowned as the ultimate show horse and loved for their elegance and grace.
The anatomy of the horse hoof also inspired a subtle detail that was incorporated into the stationery via die-cut.
 The repeat patterns of the vineyards and paddocks inspired the pattern used as a secondary design detail.
