Alliteration Inspiration: Beards & Bees

Alliteration Inspiration is a weekly column featuring the top twenty pieces of visual inspiration based on two random alliterative themes. This week’s thematic combo: beards & bees.

Slow down, we’re not talking about the birds and the bees here. We’ll let another blog handle that subject.

While I thought beards and bees was a random enough combo of alliterative words to research for design inspiration this week, the internet sought to prove me wrong. Did you know that “bee bearding” used to be (and kind of still is) a thing? Well, before you take that up as your next hobby, get inspired by this week’s alliteration inspiration combination.

Beards

While the moustache had its moment in the spotlight last month, December is the season of beards. The cold winter weather necessitates more facial foliage, and whether or not you can grow a beard of your own, you’ll still be getting a visit from a certain furry-faced fellow on the night of the 24th. These ten bearded works are sure to stimulate your brain (and follicles).
