40 Days of Dating Shop

Designers. Friends. Lovers? If you haven’t heard of 40 Days of Dating, it’s one of the most fascinating side projects the design world has ever seen.

Described simply by the creators, NY-based designers Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman:

“Two good friends with opposite relationship problems found themselves single at the same time. As an experiment, they dated for 40 days.”

As Jessica and Timothy documented their experiences daily on the 40 Days of Dating website, each post was accompanied by colorful type treatments created by 80 of their talented friends in the design world, such as Keetra Dean Dixon, Mikey Burton and Stefan Sagmeister.

Now, they’ve opened the 40 Days of Dating Shop where you can buy these beautiful pieces as museum quality Epson prints. They’ll add color to the room, inspire action, and may even complicate your relationship! We’ve posted some of our favorites below, but check out many more at the shop for yourself. All profits from print sales go directly to the artists who contributed.

He lives in Seattle, has a beard, enjoys pizza and coffee (not together) and tries to spread as much positivity as he can. He's at his best in a light, collaborative environment; he's at my worst when losing at Scrabble. Above all, he's always looking for ways to grow his brain.

Formerly the community manager for AmazonSmile and digital marketing manager at DRY Soda; he can now be found doing freelance graphic design, social media and marketing consultation.
