I realize that’s a bold statement to make; and I’m sure quite a few people wouldn’t agree with me. But ever since I read about Scrap on design*sponge, I was dying to get there. And I wasn’t disappointed.
A warehouse of random items including stationery, envelopes, fabric, old board games, glass bottles, etc.; I could have spent hours in there. If only I didn’t need to limit my purchases to things I could carry on the plane… I gravitated towards the fabric sections, where you could fill a whole bag of scraps for just $5! There was a huge mix of samples as you can see from the pile I took home. I got a couple of pretty large samples (well over a yard) as well as a bunch of small leather swatches. Not sure what I’m going to do with all of it yet; but I can’t wait to figure it out.
