Burgess Studio: Planting Poetry

Planting Poetry is a series of colorful, typographic sculptures that were created by Burgess Studio for the Ministry of Stories, a charity that aims to inspire young people through creative writing. During a week-long workshop with the charity, the children who participated each created a mesostic poem—a poem that has one word running downwards with each line intersecting it. And once complete, the poems were submitted to Burgess Studio for installation in St. Mary’s Secret Garden in East London, where the original workshop took place. A beautiful concept, from start to finish.
