We love Jono Garrett’s work so much that it’s getting a double post! And since it is Valentine’s Day, what better project to share than the gorgeous materials designed for his wedding.
The inspiration for the design came from their travels as individuals and as a couple:
Since my wife and I met, whenever either one of us was away from home we sent a postcard.

About two years ago we left South Africa and moved to Germany, leaving our friends and families behind, and having to rely on texts emails and Skype calls to keep in touch.
We wanted our invitations to reflect something really honest about us, but also make the people receiving them feel important. We thought sending a pack of postcards documenting a timeline of our relationship (from songs we love to places we’ve traveled) to be the best solution. There was also the hope that, if we made them cool enough, they might end up framed as opposed to being stuck on the fridge. For the most part, I think it worked out—but maybe that was just the gold spot.
Also, don’t miss the wedding table gifts he designed, and for more beautiful work, be sure to take a look around the rest of his portfolio.
