Justyna Medoń Screen Printing

I’m really enjoying the work of Justyna Medoń, head of Red Poppy design studio in Warsaw, Poland, who specializes in hand screen printed textiles and wallpapers. Her patterns, color choices and stylistic range make for very intriguing pieces that would make fantastic additions to any wardrobe or blank wall.

From Justyna’s Behance portfolio:

Justyna Medon draws inspiration from visual marks created by nature and human activity and refers to the rich history of the traditional English wallpapers and subtle Japanese painting.

Red Poppy is the first Polish company based in Warsaw to produce wallpapers using a labour-intensive screen printing technique, first developed in ancient China and Japan.
