Every so often a Kickstarter project comes through my inbox that I get really excited about, and Oakland Illustrated is definitely one of them. Curated by Oakland, California-based letterpress printing and design studio The Weekend Press, the project includes ten illustrated tributes to the their home city. Each vibrant, three-color letterpress print features a different experience in Oakland designed by one of ten amazing illustrators, including Anna Hurley, Brent Couchman, Carl Bender, Erik Marinovich, Eszter Clark, Javier Garcia, Jeffrey Bucholtz, Nate Luetkehans, Richard Perez and Albert + Marie.
