Little Mule Studio

Watch out: this Little Mule kicks.

Little Mule Studios / on Design Work Life

After sharing her talents and building her chops at Pentagram (Austin, TX) and Yee-Haw Industries (Knoxville, TN), Blair Richardson decided to set off on her own. After three years of freelance in Austin under the name Little Mule Studio, she relocated to Mexico City and maintained plenty of work stateside.

Now that she’s been running the show by herself for seven years, her workload has grown across international borders to the point that she’s now breaking out of her comfortable freelance box and hiring a team to help her. Summer interns interested in Mexico City, shoot her an email!

Check out three select projects below and see even more at the Little Mule Studio website.

Franklin Barbecue

Franklin Barbecue is a food trailer in Austin, TX. They’re open Tuesday to Sunday from “11 AM-sold out”, which can come in a hurry with the award winning barbecue they serve. As you’ll see below, Little Mule’s work for Franklin Barbecue is just as tasty.
