My good buddy Jon Daly is a formally trained painter (see here), but he also creates some of the greatest illustration meets design meets painting work I’ve seen. His blended skillset gives him a unique take on solving visual problems, that lead to unexpected and wild solutions.
His latest album artwork for Sophistafunk is reminiscent of a more psychedelic time, with beautiful hand drawn type (a trademark of Jon’s work) and a minimal palette that keeps the painterly style very graphic.
