The PenJet project is the result of a classroom experiment involving a printer that used an attached pen as part of its mechanism. Created by three students of Rietveld Academie, Jaan Evart, Julian Hagen and Daniël Maarleveld, the end result included a typeface that emerged. Some examples are below
