I’m really excited about Project Neon, Kirsten Hively‘s attempt to document and map all of New York’s best neon signs. Each week she’ll visit a new location and post a photo that captures the glowing signage (more images can be seen in her Flickr set), plus an accompanying story. Also in the works is the development of an iPhone app, which will act as a field guide to New York’s neon. And to support this labor-intesive endeavor, she’s set up a Kickstarter project. So take a look, and if you like what you see, throw some support her way.
