You may have noticed a small addition to the sidebar today regarding work submissions. We get quite a few emails from our readers, which we love, so we think it’s about time we put a more solid submission process in place. There is now a specific link in the sidebar which you should use to quickly and easily shoot us an email. And in an effort to let you in on what we’re looking for, here’s a couple of things to keep in mind:
- A url is best. Whether it’s a personal portfolio, or a Bēhance profile, we’d ideally like to be able to browse through all of your work online.
- If you don’t have an online portfolio (or the submitted project isn’t online yet), no problem. Attach a few images to your email to give us an idea; just try keep the total file size to a minimum. If we would like to see more we will definitely let you know. It also may be helpful to know that our images are 510px wide. So if you can size yours to 510px or wider that is a plus.
- We love context, especially if you are submitting a specific project. We’d love to know more about you, your thoughts and your process.
- Make sure your content is relevant. As all of our long-time readers know, we primarily focus on visual inspiration, ranging from design to illustration to photography and more. If you think your content fits somewhere in that spectrum please feel free to send it our way. While we like to stick to what we know, we are absolutely open to new ideas.
