Louize is a new serif typeface by Nonpareille, the foundry of France-based, Swiss-born Matthieu Cortat. The typeface is a contemporary revival of Augustaux designed by Louis Perrin between 1846 and 1855. Designed in six styles—three weights plus italics—its Roman styles include small caps, while the italics include swash capitals, and in total, Louize offers almost 6000 glyphs.
