If you happen to be in Paris in the next couple of weeks, I would make MWM Graphics’ Crystals & Lasers a definite stop. Matt W. Moore’s first ever solo exhibition in the city, on view through March 14th, was conceptualized, developed and created with no planning, as he absorbed Paris culture during a month-long stay. The goal for the resulting vibrant, graphic canvases is for the viewers eye to “fall into the piece and get lost in the optical illusions, trying to figure out what is up, down, left, and right.”
