Daniel Ting Chong: Red Bull Cooler Design

Daniel Ting Chong was one of 9 Cape Town artists selected to participate in Red Bull’s South Africa-based Canvas Cooler project, where they commission various artists to adorn a Red Bull cooler with their artwork. I wasn’t aware of it before discovering this particular piece, but it’s an event that has happened all around the United States as well. It’s really great to see a well-known brand supporting local artists on such a large scale.

Each artist was given full creative freedom to adorn their cooler before it would be showcased in a specific local bar. While I’m not really a Red Bull drinker, Daniel’s colorful, energetic design makes me so happy I might just buy one. Get a closer look right here.
