Eight Hour Day: ADMCi Identity and Collateral

One of my favorites, Eight Hour Day, recently completed the Identity and various collateral you see below for The ADMCi, the American Design and Master-Craft initiative. Beautiful work, as always. Here’s some background from EHD’s point of view:

The brand is about connection. Stylistically, the logomark and patterns are meant to be a modern take on the Arts and Crafts movement—a movement with a similar desire to reform traditional craftsmanship in an industrialized world. The dot of the “i” within the logomark is used throughout the pattern to represent the brand’s organic connection of people, ideas and support. Large photographic crops of finished designs convey the idea of curation, keeping focus on the object and the art. The result is a bold modern brand for an organization worthy of the artisans it supports.
