Minneapolis has such an amazing design scene, including an especially high concentration of talented female designers. So it was great to see the development of WOMN: Women in Minnesota Design, an exhibition put together to honor women’s contributions to the field, by the College of Visual Arts. The promotional pieces for the event were designed by Laurie DeMartino Design, one of the women celebrated in the show. Unfortunately it’s just recently closed, but you can still check out a few images of the event on AIGA Minnesota’s Facebook page or the CVA slideshow.
