Tag Collective: Wishbone

New York’s Tag Collective just put out some tasty new branding and environment work for Wishbone, a fried chicken spot in Philadelphia. It maintains an authentic balance between rustic aesthetic and modern design, resulting in a thoughtfully considered casual dining experience.

Wishbone, a fried chicken restaurant in Philadelphia, wasn’t interested in serving just your average drumstick. Everything that came out of their kitchen was gourmet, but — like any good fried chicken — it was also a little greasy. We wanted to celebrate this gourmet and greasy contrast with the design. We mixed high-end light fixtures, tile work and flooring with low-end, readily available materials like plywood and concrete to match the palette of the food. The identity system has a warm comfortable look, that compliments the food, it’s not too complicated and has a bit of humor — it’s fried chicken after all.
