The American Craftsman Project

For the month of August, a series of guests will be filling in on DWL with daily posts. Today’s posts come to you from Jason Johnson who fights the good fight as an Art Director/Designer at TunnelBravo. For more from Jason, check out his portfolio or shots on Dribbble

To me there is nothing more inspirational than seeing a true craftsman at work. When I came across the American Craftsman Project by Tadd Myers I was blown away. It’s fascinating to see someone making a baseball glove, piano, hat or even a broom. Tadd has set out to capture these unique artists because as he says: “the craftsman keeps an older, slower, more picturesque kind of work alive”. I couldn’t agree more.
