In honor of International Talk Like a Pirate Day—yup, it’s a real thing—I’m happy to share a fun side project by James Abercrombie, a designer and illustrator, and Karla Jean Davis, a filmmaker. Unfamous Pirates from Arrr! to Z is “a book-in-progress about the most fearsome and fumbling swashbucklers to ever fade into complete obscurity.” Inspired by and created for their daughter, Olive, they will be uploading one spread a week until almost half of the book is online.
