I’ve always said that if I ever win the lottery I would become a professional student. I’ve always wanted to go back to school, and I would be enrolled in various classes constantly if I had the time. So needless to say, I’m very excited to announce our most recent partnership with Course Horse, a site that provides makes it easier for prospective students to find, compare and enroll in the best local classes. I’ll be starting a new series of posts that will each highlight a group of classes on a particular topic that I personally wish I could take myself.
This week, we’re starting with Design Program Basics. These courses are great whether you want to brush up on your skills or learn a new one. No matter what discipline you’re focused on, knowledge in each of these programs is a must.
- Illustrator Essentials: Learn how to create vector art for design and websites, create Perspective Drawings and control your brushes to create a more natural brush stroke. More info.
- Photoshop Essentials: Students will be able to create graphics for use in websites, retouch damaged photography and use Text, Layers and Drawing Tools to create images. More info.
- InDesign Essentials: Learn how to lay out a multiple page document, insert photos, create text styles, master documents and pages, flow in copy from Microsoft Word and send a document off to print. More info.
This is fantastic. I want to be a professional student, too
