Design Square is a new, curated directory of the graphic design industry, aiming to make connections between design and business.
The site is free to use and free to join, and the process is simple. After submitting an application form, your entry will be reviewed to determine whether or not it’s a good fit within 24–48 hours. Design Square will look through your website for representations of the qualities they find important: authenticity, passion, quality, respectfulness and vision. And if you’re found to be a good representative, you’ll be approved and published in the directory.
Businesses, designers and students can explore the directory by discipline and then drill down through more specific features.
At this point the site is very new and still needs some filling out. But I can definitely see this becoming an incredibly useful resource, both for those within the design community as well as businesses looking for a design partner.
