Threadless announced this week that they are spinning off two of their popular t-shirt lines into their own sites: The Select Series and Type Tees. The Select series features curated, artist-designed t-shirts. The first collection, the RISD Collection, was put together by guest curator John Maeda and designed around the theme of “newness”. Type Tees still operates on a similar model to Threadless: submit a slogan and get $500 if it’s printed.
