Australian designer James Kape will soon be embarking on a year-long working trip to New York. Since he’ll be looking for a design position while here, promotional materials were in order. So he came up with this clean and modern stationery system and portfolio book. The book itself was hand-crafted by an artisan book binder using brown box cover and a strip of yellow buckram on the binding. The cover title was letterpressed and the interior pages were printed digitally, culminating in a deceivingly simple piece. Check out a few more details right here.
Wow, I’m impressed.
This is so fantastic! I think my portfolio will need to be published in this way. Thanks for this!
Great work—welcome to American soil, mate! Best of luck with the job search!
