For a solo show in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jordan Metcalf created Pictures | Words, a “range of type and image based pieces in various mediums including layered, laser engraved & die cut wood, lino cuts, scratch board illustrations and ink paintings.” I’m thoroughly impressed with the design, craftsmanship and message—I’d be happy to have any of these pieces hanging on my walls.
