I think the last thing anyone wants to hear right now is another comment about “this economy” or the “current financial climate”. But I think this response from Ogilvy is fresh and clever. They designed a series of undersized business cards to save on printing costs, and printed each of them with thought-provoking messages in order to drive traffic to ogilvyonrecession.com, a site “offering smart strategies to deal with the downturn”.

I agree (with all talk these days turned to the big “R”) and love these responses from Ogilvy. Great find!
These are kind of cool but honestly, I think its a little lame for companies who are otherwise generally unconcerned with environmental & social issues to cash in when the heat is on. Feels a little like green-washing to me.
