Way back when OS9 was the operating system of choice, I received a PaperRep disc at some sort of paper event. At the time I had recently graduated from college with little knowledge of production, so to me, it was the best thing ever—a disc that offered me anything I wanted to know about paper, printing and production.
Eventually I didn’t have as much of a use for it and moved on to bigger and better operating systems, assuming the tool didn’t update with them. So I was thrilled the other day to see that PaperRep has finally been translated into a website—and a clean, easy-to-use, and friendly one at that. Baltimore-based Drexler (who also has a pretty great new site themselves) is the team behind the site, and they did an excellent job if you ask me.
It is an invaluable tool for anyone looking to learn about production—especially students. It would have been amazing to enter the professional world with all of this knowledge in my back pocket. So check it out for yourself right here.
